    Strategy and Performance Profiles

UCS Strategy and Performance Profiles provide an annual review and update on company operations, including corporate strategies (stated and inferred), challenges based on asset performance and location, and a thorough review of upstream activity and operations. The Profiles form the cornerstone of the UCS, and are required reading in corporate planning, strategy and business development groups.

    Corporate and Financial Overviews

The annual Corporate and Financial Overviews provide a corporate-level summary of company-stated objectives, strategies and performance targets, recent corporate events, and PFC Energy's assessment of current corporate strategy, relative strengths and weaknesses and key corporate financial points. The Overviews are designed to place the Upstream activities of those integrated companies covered by the UCS, into a corporate-wide perspective. Each company's corporate financial position and performance is analyzed on a peer group basis from various perspectives including assets, operating income, capital spending across corporate segments, sources/uses of cash flow, growth metrics, financial strength, returns, and market performance.

    Quarterly Analysis

The UCS provides quarterly reviews of 40 international integrated and independent companies, expanding on the core coverage of the Profiles. The Quarterly series provides a perspective on company performance and benchmarking, tracking strategy execution through the year.

    Upstream Memos

The UCS Memos provide subscribers with detailed analysis of industry trends and significant events impacting on company strategy and planning. Topics covered in the UCS Memos include Merger Analysis, Financial Strategies and Results, and Regional Oil Sector Information.
